EMTALA
Methodist Ler Bonheur Healthcare upholds the Emergency Medical and Treatment Act (EMTALA). Thi sregulation has three main components:
- Performance of a Medical Screening (MSE)
- Stabilizing the patient
- Transferring the patient
EMTALA requires Emergency on-call schedules which are posted on MOLLI. Refer to the EMTALA quick reference guide for additional information.
Americans with Disabilities Act
Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare Interpreting Services provide communication assistance between MLH Associates and patients & families. The Interpreting Services page on MOLLI provides detailed information. Physicians receive annual notification of ADA requirements.
