Allied Healthcare
Authorized access to protected information within the Methodist Healthcare network must be granted for credentialed medical staff.
- Physicians should download and complete the Physician/Allied Health Access Request form.
- Access for office staff can be delegated to practice/site manager. Delegation of this responsibility must be indicated on the form. Authorization to delegate to practice/site manager is located above the signature line on the form.
- Fax signed form to the Medical Staff Services at 901.516.7573.
- Medical Staff Services Director will authorize your access to PowerChart and secured applications based on your privileges at Methodist Healthcare. Medical Staff Services will notify Information Systems of your approved request.
- Information Systems will establish your user account.
- This verification process should take 5-10 days to complete. If you have any problems logging on after 10 days please call the Physicians' Help Desk at 901.516.0000, option #2.
- The user ID and password you submitted on the request form will be the log-in name and password you use when you log into the network and into PowerChart for the first time.
- After initial log-in, you will need to immediately change your password in Cerner/PowerChart for security purposes.
