COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Pediatric Trauma Symposium will provide an overview of education and improve knowledge on basic recognition and intervention needs for seriously injured trauma patients in the pediatric population for nursing, physicians and other healthcare providers in the hospital and pre-hospital setting.
This program will educate healthcare providers in order to decrease the number of opportunities for improvement by improving diagnoses, enhancing treatment plans and improving patient outcomes.
TARGET AUDIENCE
This course is designed for all levels of providers, including first responders, EMS, emergency medicine physicians, ICU physicians, nurses and other professionals involved in treating injured children.
